Biography
Daniel Hakhamzadeh is an Of Counsel at SM Law Group, where he focuses on representing individuals in a variety of litigation areas, including personal injury cases involving automobile accidents, trucking accidents, dog bites, slip and falls, and premise liability matters.
In 2013, Daniel graduated from University of California, Irvine, majoring in Psychology. He received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 2017. While at Loyola, Daniel made it a priority to gain hands-on experience by participating in substantive activities both inside and out of the classroom. Daniel’s most rewarding work experience during law school was his clerkship serving the Attorney General’s Office, Financial Fraud and Special Prosecutions Unit. During his time there he assisted in investigating and prosecuting complex criminal cases, primarily related to financial, securities, mortgage, and environmental fraud. On his spare time, Daniel participated in the Shriver Landlord Tenant Clinic and volunteered pro bono at Public Counsel, where he helped low-income clients on their eviction matters beginning with the filing of an unlawful detainer complaint through trial proceedings.
As an attorney, Daniel has engaged in successful litigation where he has helped represent consumers and entities in various personal injury and employment matters. Prior to joining SM Law Group, Daniel gained valuable litigation experience working at a distinguished defense firm focused on defending personal injury and employment matters on behalf of public entities and corporate clients. Daniel has also previously worked at a reputable plaintiff’s firm, representing individuals that have been injured. Daniel has been selected to the Southern California Rising Stars by Super Lawyers for 2020 and 2021.
